Software that enables orchard managers to receive advanced crop estimations is one of our eight start-ups selected to take part in the inaugural Sprout agritech business accelerator programme.
Tauranga kiwifruit orchard manager Matt Ryan, who won Zespri’s 2013 Bruce Stowell Exchange Scholarship and wife Tayah Ryan, have turned their hands to developing software to assist with efficient orchard management.
Sprout Programme Manager James Bell-Booth says the selection committee was impressed by the Ryans’ resume and their vision to draw on their skill base to help others in the field.
“Logic Labs is in the early stages of development making it the perfect start-up for the accelerator programme. Matt is a leading advisor in the kiwifruit industry and has big plans for his software,” says Bell-Booth.
