Sprout Entrepreneur Spotlight - DairyMax

Software that enables dairy farmers to increase profitability through budgeting feed has been named one of eight winners taking part in the inaugural Sprout agritech business accelerator programme.

Manawatu animal nutritionist Ane Visser, who has provided expertise on mathematical modelling and diet optimisation to science and industry leaders, developed the feed budgeting programme for his company DairyMax over eight years, and it is already having success in Europe.

Sprout Programme Manager James Bell-Booth says the judging panel was impressed by Visser’s determination and international approach.

“DairyMax’s feed budgeting programme is already being used in Europe which is testament to the market value of this programme.”
