Anna Bailey

Anna is the Communications and Community Manager at Sprout. Anna loves shining the spotlight on entrepreneurs within the Sprout Accelerator, Alumni and Portfolio companies, capturing their vision and dreams to use technology to transform food systems.

Previously, Anna led a team as Operations Manager at Grass Roots Media, a rural social media and marketing consultancy company. She was involved in full client and event management and team training development. Anna was pivotal in developing, establishing and implementing their Community Management strategy.

Anna has also worked within the New Zealand Education and Health Systems as a Scale A teacher, mentor, and Public Health specialist, focusing on community and school-based Nutrition and Physical Activity initiatives.

Growing up in the rural sector, Anna has an innate understanding of the agricultural and farming world. This connection fuels her drive to amplify the voices of innovators and changemakers in the agri and food tech space.

Anna has a Bachelor of Science from Massey University, double majoring in Human Nutrition and Sport & Exercise Science. She also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning from the University of Canterbury.
