Shikha Malhotra

Shikha is the Head of Portfolio and Growth at Sprout, where she drives value creation across Sprout’s investment portfolio by helping Agritech and Foodtech startups scale through funding, international partnerships, and go-to-market strategies.

With deep experience across Asia’s innovation landscape, Shikha brings an international perspective to Sprout’s work by unlocking cross-border partnerships, enabling market entry, and navigating regulatory and cultural complexities, bridging innovation between New Zealand and other high-impact regions.

Prior to Sprout, Shikha worked for Singapore’s largest media company and before that as Head of Corporate Development at Shiok Meats, an alt-protein pioneer, where she led fundraising, investor relations, and strategic partnerships. She led the Women and Climate (NGO) Singapore chapter and continues to advise a materials venture on product strategy, expansion, and growth.

A passionate ecosystem builder, Shikha is actively involved in community upliftment and social equity initiatives through Rotary. She currently serves as Head of Foundation at the Rotary Club of Queenstown and serves on the Board of the Foundation of Rotary Clubs in Singapore.

She holds a degree in Engineering and an MBA in Strategy and Digital Innovation from National University of Singapore and HEC Paris, and brings a decade of experience at the intersection of technology, investments, and growth. She was one of McKinsey’s Next Generation Women Leaders and Poets & Quants Best & Brightest MBA in 2020.
