Chris Mason founded the BurgerFuel® brand in 1995, opening the first store on Ponsonby Road in Auckland. Since taking the company public in 2007, he has lived mainly offshore since 2010. Firstly, leading development in the Middle East and in the last few years, the USA. Chris moved his family back from the US in 2021 to pursue other business interests but remains a shareholder and passionate supporter of the BurgerFuel® brand.
