We asked Daniel how he thought New Zealand's agritech system compared to those overseas and how he sees the primary industries benefiting from agritech in the future.
We asked Daniel where is interest in agritech came from and why he chose to do research this topic as part of his ANZ Scholarship.
Daniel Risi was born and raised on a dairy farm in Cambridge. After school, Daniel did a degree in Natural Resource Engineering at the University of Canterbury. He is the recipient of an ANZ Scholarship through New Zealand Young Farmers. He chose the topic of agritech as his area of study for the scholarship and now heads to USA to find out more about the agritech ecosystem.
